Campground Chat – August 2014

Jim Cull gave financial report-$2347.84

Just a reminder—-July 26 is Ice Cream Day 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the club house. This is for young and old alike. Come enjoy a cone and visit with fellow campers.

We had numerous compliments on the fireworks. Thanks campers for the input. So very glad everyone seemed to enjoy the fireworks. Ken even said they were very good. As usual Scoot and gang did a bang up job. Thank you guys. We were able to purchase a larger amount of fireworks because Tom Jung donated $100.00, Ken donated $500.00 and Keith, Wendy and Cathy Carver ran a Monte Carlo that netted $258.00, then we got $368.00 free because of the amount purchased. Great job guys, you helped make it great. Thank you to Jim, Barb and Jessie for cooking the hot dogs and to Cindy Manz and Bonnie White for serving.

Thank you Jim and Barb for doing the poker run and to the ones that ran check stations. Without the great help these events wouldn’t be possible. Bonita Wentworth took 1st place, Keith Craig took 2nd and Steve Cress took 3rd. Great job.

Thank you Pete, Mary and Lauren for running the 50/50. Ron Pennybacker donated a fishing rig to go along with the 50/50. Joe Simonds won with $187.00.

Ron and Cat Pennybacker did a great job with Karaoke, along with some great talent that performed. Thank you guys for a great evening of entertainment.

Ken advised us there is a shortage of boat stickers, and not to be concerned if you do not get one.
